We're Baaaaaack!
Ok so it's been a year and a half since the last post...that's how often most people update these things right? Anywho, with our new little one on the way I thought now would be a good time to get this up and running again, mainly so I will be able to look back and see what I was thinking but you're more than welcome to follow along too. I highly doubt Matt will contribute often but we shall see...he could surprise us all!
So...things that are new...well first (and already mentioned above) - we are expecting again. We are 15 weeks along and extremely excited (though quite nervous as well...at least I am). Our little bean is growing and changing rapidly and we've already felt him/her move and roll around a bit. Just softly but I imagine there is a lot more coming. We have decided to find out the sex of the baby (which was quite the debate in our house) but Matt absolutely NEEDED to know so we compromised and will NOT be finding out the sex of the next little one. We'll see how that turns out. I've "felt" like bean is a girl from the very beginning but we will find out on Dec. 14th so keep your eyes peeled for results (once we tell our family) around then.
We have had A LOT more tests with this pregnancy, which is understandable because of the complications and development issues we had with Zack. We will be having a fetal echo done on the 17th of December to fully examine the baby's heart (regardless of the outcome of the 18 week ultrasound) just to be on the safe side. So far our ultrasounds (we've had 2) have been normal (which is the best word to hear EVER as far as I'm concerned). Baby is measuring exactly where s/he should be and heartrate has been nice and strong in the 160's.
Other than little bean there is not much going on, preparing for Christmas and always looking forward to the next "big thing" including the new moon movie I saw Thursday, our ultrasound, fetal echo, anniversary (man oh man 5 years already!), christmas, new years, etc. Our due date is May 14th, 2010 (which seems far but time has been flying by lately - which I love).
Being a photographer I will share some recent photos:

and an image from our cottage trip this year...
