Dear Jack...

I can't believe it, we are already 31 weeks into this pregnancy with you! That means there is only 7ish more weeks until we meet you! I know normally people are pregnant for 40 weeks but you're measuring large and mommy has gestational diabetes so we get to meet you a bit early :)

This pregnancy has gone by so quickly and I really thought that it would slow down and feel like time is standing still by this time, but I was wrong. If anything time is going faster! Daddy and I are so excited to meet you little man. To see you for the first time in real life (though the 3D ultrasound was pretty neat), touch you, kiss you, and hold you.

I must say that I was really shocked when we went for our ultrasound (a while ago now) and found out that you were a boy. I really really thought you were a girl, but that's ok, because I can't imagine you any other way now. I wouldn't change you for the world.

We've been putting the finishing touches on your room (which Loki seems very excited about since she spends 90% percent of her time in there) and getting last minute things together, it's all very exciting :)

I just want you to know how much I love you and how much I mean that when I say those words. No word of a lie, you are always on my mind. You have no idea how much happiness I feel when you roll about and use my organs as your personal punching bags. It makes me smile each time and it’s definitely my favorite part of being pregnant.

There are a million things that I want for you, but I won’t get ahead of myself just yet. Just know that your mommy and daddy love you so much and we always will.
