What we learned on our Hospital Tour

So as most of you know we went on our hospital tour a couple weeks ago. It was neat to get to see everything and learn how things work when the big "show" starts. You would think that having worked there for 4 months I would already know a bunch (and some aspects I did) but for the most part I learned just as much as Matt.

Anywho, here are the key things (for visitors) we learned about Southlake (I'm pretty sure these are relatively standard but who knows, we don't want to be in trouble at the hospital b/c we didn't pass along the info):

1. They have a no latex policy due to allergies/etc
2. Visiting hours are 2:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
3. Only two visitors are permitted at one time (and it's adults only)
4. If you're sick, stay home
5. Don't use your cell phone in the hospital, it interferes with equipment

That's what we learned that applies to visitors, we learned a bunch more info for us :)

OH, and they keep up for a minimum 24 hours but stay after that depends on health and status of both Jack and I. We'll see what happens!
