Thirty Days...

Every so often I calculate how many days are actually left in this pregnancy with Jack...it's been a while since the last count though so I figured today was as good a day as any (the countdown above is not accurate since we have to take two weeks off). Guess what...we only have THIRTY days left, I can't believe it. I'm not worried or anything like that, most of the things on "the list" have been finished already and we just have a couple last minute things to do, but still...30 days does not seem like a long time.

Here is our updated list of things to do:

1. Empty out desk in living room so we can store it at Matt's moms (not enough room here with baby things taking over)
2. Paint 2 ikea shelves (normally I wouldn't do this but they only had light blue left when we went and I didn't want to drive out for nothing so paint we shall)
3. Pre-wash baby clothes that haven't been done yet (I did all the onesies/sleepers before the bbq but have to wash all the stuff we've been given still)
4. Scrub bathroom (will likely convince Matt to do this one...I did it last time :P) and organize cupboards
5. Re-organize kitchen cupboards (they are a mish-mash of everything at this point...it would be nice to have some kind of organizational system other than "this fits here so here it shall go")
6. Paint J A C K letters for nursery and do second coat on picture frames :)
7. "Hire" dad to install new ceiling fan in Jack's room (this is actually in the works and will be done on Saturday)
8. Get Matt to put up re-painted shelves in Jack's room so I can put the decor on them
9. Install car seat base in car and get it checked
10. Pack hospital bags (one for me (with snacks + juice for Matt) and one for Jack)

Bonus: TAKE PICTURES OF JACK'S ROOM + (maybe) some pregnancy pics

The pregnancy pics are becoming less and less of a maybe but it seems they will have to be done SOON...like this weekend - I'm hoping to take pics of the FINISHED nursery on Monday or Tuesday (this is a hint for someone to remind me during those days so I do it lol).
